Parent Teacher Association (PTA)
The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is a formal organization composed of parents and teachers. Every parent or guardian of a child enrolled at PS150Q is part of the PTA. The main goal of the PTA is to facilitate parental participation by providing resources and programs to all families at PS150Q. It activates and promotes a strong sense of community among parents, students, faculty, and administrators. The association holds a general membership meeting at the school once a month, rotating between morning and evening meetings. Our office is located in Room 101 in the Main Building, just before the Auditorium entrance. For more information please email ps150qpta@gmail.com.

Volunteer Opportunities
The PTA hosts many events throughout the school year which benefit our children and school community. Some events include Read-a-thon, Mother’s Day Sale, and movie nights. Volunteering your time and talents is a great opportunity to take part in these events and activities. We invite all parents and family members who are available and interested in volunteering to please contact the PTA at ps150qpta@gmail.com. The PTA would not be able to make these events possible without parent participation.
School Leadership Team (SLT)
The School Leadership Team develops school-based educational policies and makes sure that resources are aligned to implement those policies. SLT assists in the assessment of the school’s educational programs and their effects on student achievement. Meetings are open to the public and are held at 7:15 am, the second Tuesday of the month in Room 207 - unless otherwise noted. Members of the public may not vote, nor participate in consensus decisions.
Any member of the public who wishes to speak at an SLT meeting must submit a written request to the Team no later than one (1) week prior to that meeting. You may address your request to: ps150qslt@gmail.com. Click here for more School Leadership Team information.
